Summary
As the backend developer on this project, I architected and implemented the CMS modules enabling administrators to perform full CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations on all content models. Beyond integrating standard Pages and News modules, I engineered a custom Tournaments module featuring DateTime-based scheduling logic that automatically categorizes events as upcoming or past based on current date comparison.
The frontend implementation includes a RESTful route structure providing intuitive navigation:
/tournaments/upcoming— Dynamically filtered list of future tournaments/tournaments/past— Archive of completed tournament events/tournaments/{tournament}/{slug}— Individual tournament detail pages featuring schedules, winners, and photo galleries
This project demonstrates my ability to translate business requirements into scalable database models, implement time-based content logic, and deliver user-friendly administrative interfaces that empower non-technical staff to manage complex content independently.
